Kristi, founder of KAMP grew up in a small town in Massachusetts alongside her mom and brother, spending much of her childhood on the ice playing hockey. She proudly describes herself as a bit of a tomboy during those early years, more comfortable in skates than in front of a mirror.That began to shift in high school when she started exploring her creative side and discovered the transformative power of makeup. She watched her hardworking, often exhausted single mom step into the bathroom bare-faced and emerge looking polished, confident, and ready to take on the day. Growing up in the bold beauty era of the 80s… with blue eyeliner, pink blush, and vibrant lipstick everywhere; Kristi began experimenting with her mom’s makeup, slowly evolving from athlete to teenage girl with a growing passion for beauty…
